Correct answer: What is very quirky?
I have this thing about geographic "superlatives." I had to stand on the Greenwich Meridian at noon. I have to touch the water at significant points, such as the westernmost co-terminus point of the United States (in Olympic National Park, Washington) or in the case of the picture above, the Rio Grande in Big Bend National Park, Texas. In 1977, I was especially excited when I could stand at the Four Corners Monument out west (photo below). Imagine the glee I will have when I finally cross the equator! And those of you who have traveled with me will attest to my need to collect state capitols. I just love maps, geography, and government.
